The Empty Chronicles Pt 1 , Cleansers

Thought I’d go through my empties by category and because I can’t be bothered always holding onto the empty containers these are photos I previously took for Instagram when I was sharing my current stash. I have already done a blog post on May Lindstrom Skin’s entire line which you can find in the Skincare category .

I will just be giving a brief overview of each , If you would like to know more please don’t hesitate to ask .

Product Infiore Beauty – Treate Cleansing Emulsion

Type Milk Cleanser

Price  $102 aud for 125ml

Recommended Use  2-5 pumps massaged gently into skin and removed with warm and cool water or with a warm washcloth.

How I Use  Exactly as directed , I prefer to use as a morning or 2nd cleanse in the evening.

Smell Like a bouquet of summer flowers .

Texture  Light milky feeling.

Thoughts This is just incredibly beautiful and gentle. Also if you prefer to not use washcloths its extremely effective at breaking down oil, so if you’re a fan of oil cleansers then this easily breaks it down and allows you to rinse with alternating warm and cold water to remove. I love the feeling of this on my skin and once removed my skin feels hydrated and plumped ready to absorb the following products.

Repurchase – Definitely !!!!

Ingredients– Water (Aqua), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Rosa Damascena Flower Hydrosol, Organic Sugar Cane Alcohol**, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Oil, Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Oil, Glycerin, Xanthan Gum, Jasminum Officinale Flower Extract, Rosa Canina Fruit Extract, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Arctium Lappa (Burdock) Root Extract, Humulus Lupulus (Hops) Flower Extract, Echinacea Angustifolia Root Extract, Plantago Major (Plantain) Leaf Extract, Taraxacum Officinale (Dandelion) Leaf/Root Extract, Fucus Vesiculosus Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Aroma*, Limonene*, Linalool*, Geraniol*, Eugenol*, Benzyl Benzoate*, Citronellol*, Farnesol*. *Naturally occurs in essential oils. Custom-tincturing ‘Esprit de In Fiore’ alcohol** from organically grown sugar cane and a proprietary blend of ethically sourced botanicals.

Product Omorovicza – Moor Cream Cleanser

Type Cream Cleanser

Price   $97 aud for 150ml

Recommended Use  Apply to damp skin avoiding eyes and rinse clean.

How I Use  As above though I prefer using a warm washcloth.

Smell Menthol

Texture  Heavy creamy feeling.

Thoughts Was so sceptical of this before using as I’m not a fan of their cleansing balm, however I have come to truly appreciate this. My skin feels thoroughly clean yet not stripped this leaves my skin feeling great and ready to absorb the next steps. Will only use a morning cleanse or 2nd cleanse in the evening. Do not recommend if you have sensitive or reactive skin.

Repurchase – Yes but for me this is a summer cleanser, Very refreshing.

Ingredients– Aqua (Hungarian Thermal Water), Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycerin, Cetearyl Ethylhexanoate, Silt (Hungarian Mud), Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Stearic Acid, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, Saccharomyces Ferment Extract, Zinc Oxide, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Disodium EDTA, Tocopherol, Parfum (Fragrance), Eucalyptus Leaf Oil, Mentha Piperita(Peppermint) Oil, Phospholipids, Xanthan Gum

Product– May Lindstrom Skin – The Pendulum Potion

Type – Oil Cleanser

Price  $118 aud for 100ml

Recommended Use– Shake bottle gently,  4-6 pumps into palms. Press into dry skin, then wet hands and gently massage. Remove in upwards motions with a warm washcloth.

How I Use  I use nearly 10 pumps because I’m greedy and enjoy a long facial massage.

Smell  Earthy, Floral , comforting.

Texture A beautiful oil, feels weighty in the best possible way.

Thoughts Like most of May Lindstroms products this was not love at first use. It took me a few cleanses to appreciate the beauty of this cleanser. Now that I’ve figured out my ritual with this its magic is undoubted.

Repurchase – Absolutely !!!!

Product Jordan Samuel Skin – The After Show Balm Cleanser

Type – Balm Cleanser

Price  $32 usd for 94ml

Recommended Use Use a small amount with dry hands on dry skin . Massage to remove makeup , spf. Rinse clean or remove with a washcloth.

How I Use  Exactly as directed although sometimes I’ve enjoyed as a morning cleanse as I find it lovely for a long facial massage.

Smell  Faintly of olives and cucumber. I find it to be a very comforting scent.

Texture  Beautiful buttery texture

Thoughts This really piqued my interest in balm cleansers and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Whilst not a lot of bells and whistles its actually the simplicity of this that I loved, I didn’t have to worry about any possible irritation and my eyes were not irritated either which is key with make up removal .

Repurchase – Yes!!!!

Ingredients– Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Squalane, Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate, Jojoba Esters, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Wax , Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Acacia Decurrens Flower Wax, Polyglycerin-3.

Product Sunday Riley – Blue Moon Tranquility Cleansing Balm

Price $72 aud for 100 g

Recommended Use Use a small amount with dry hands on dry skin . Massage to remove makeup , spf.   Remove with a washcloth.

How I Use  As directed.

Smell Delicious kind of like chocolate .

Texture Slightly granular feeling, not scratchy at all .

Thoughts It was not love at first use. I began by using in the mornings and it felt almost like a chore. Then I began using as a makeup remover in the night and it really came into its own. I found it removed every last scrap of product and left my skin feeling clean and soft. Definitely happy I did that as I grew to really appreciate it.

Repurchase – I would as a make up remover , Most products specifically for removing makeup are a little to joyless for me. I enjoy a sensory experience when cleansing and this definitely fits the bill.

Ingredients– Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Sucrose Laurate, Jojoba Esters, Acacia Decurrens Flower Wax, Glycerin, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Wax, Polyglycerin-3, Glyceryl behenate, C10-18 Triglycerides, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, PEG-8 beeswax, Cetyl Alcohol , Ceteth-20, Steareth-20, Polyglyceryl-6, Polyglyceryl-3 Beeswaxl, Squalene, Tangerine (Citrus Tangerina) Oil, Citrus sinensis (Sweet Orange) Oil, Tanacetum annuum (Blue Tansy) Leaf Oil, Matricaria recutita (German Chamomile) Essential Oil, Vanilla planifolia fruit extract, Ylang ylang (Canaga Odorata) Flower Oil, Citrus aurantium var. Does ” Good Genes ” deliver ?

Ah Sunday Riley ,  Good Genes what can I possibly add to this conversation that hasn’t been heard , read or seen . Something I hope.

I did not try this until a year ago when one of my friends was selling her bottle as she didn’t enjoy it , so I decided to take the plunge and now I understand why its loved by so many.

As a fan of acid exfoliation for at least a decade I was not convinced it would yield many results , however I’d heard lots about how Lactic Acid is good for a dryer skin type such as mine and also being in my 40’s I need all the help I can get with speeding up that cell turnover. And as I was lucky enough to have purchased a nearly full bottle at half price why the hell not !!!

Product – Good Genes by Sunday Riley

Price –  $154 aud for 30ml

Recommended Use – As a serum , one pump applied after cleansing and before moisturising. As a mask , mix with a milky cleanser and leave on for 10-20 minutes.

How I Use –  I use as a serum in the evenings. After double cleansing , acid toning and a mist I then apply 2 pumps to face and décolletage . Currently using twice a week but am looking at increasing that. Will do an update if increasing use makes a noticeable difference.

Smell – Kind of sour to me.

Texture –  Creamy serum feeling takes a few moments to absorb.

Thoughts – I definitely find this to be an important part of my brightening arsenal . I’ve found this to be the best Lactic Acid based treatment and still get the slightest tingle upon application . My skin when I wake looks bright and glowing and this effect has not subsided at all even after using nearly half a 60ml bottle. This is definitely not a budget option I have tried The Ordinary Lactic Acid in 5% and 10% which didn’t work out for me perhaps as I’m used to stronger acids, Also used Allies of Skin Bright Future Overnight Facial which is also good , will do a review of that soon. I’m just a fan of Good Genes because it works for me and if you were to use it twice a week the 30ml bottle will easily last 4 months.

Repurchase – Yes I’ve already purchased and am nearly halfway through the 60ml bottle.

Opuntia Tuna Fruit (Prickly Pear) Extract, Agave Tequilana Leaf (Blue Agave) Extract, Cypripedium Pubescens (Lady’s Slipper Orchid) Extract, Opuntia Vulgaris (Cactus) Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract & Saccharomyses Cerevisiae (Yeast) Extract, Lactic Acid, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Butylene Glycol, Squalane, Cyclomethicone, Dimethicone, Ppg-12/Smdi Copolymer, Stearic Acid, Cetearyl Alcohol And Ceteareth20, Glyceryl Stearate And Peg-100 Stearate, Arnica Montana (Flower) Extract, PEG-75 Meadowfoam Oil, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Cymbopogon Schoenanthus (Lemongrass) Oil, Triethanolamine, Xantham Gum, Phenoxyethanol, Steareth-20, DMDM Hydantoin

Is this ” The Retinol”

Hi everyone just thought I’d share my experience with this product. I have been using for 3 months and have around 1 week left of product. My reason for choosing this product was the inclusion of Lactic Acid in the formulation as my dry skin responds well to Lactic acid. My primary focus in using retinol is help with fine lines and evening out of skin tone and of course helping with general skin aging concerns.  This can be purchased  here . I purchased mine in Australia from @vimandcopharmacy . (these are not affiliate links)

If you’d like to see how I incorporate into my nightly skincare routines you can follow them on Instagram myskinandstyle

Product – Resurface by Shani Darden, Retinol Reform

Price –  $95 usd for 1 oz

Recommended Use – One to Two pumps on clean dry skin in the evening, apply moisturiser if needed . Build up slowly until you can use nightly. SPF must be used daily.

How I Use –  I used after a Hyaluronic acid product whilst building my tolerance. I now use after acid toning 4 nights per week , its my sweet spot. .

Smell – Retinol as it should be.

Texture –  Light easily absorbed serum texture.

Thoughts After 3 months of consistent use , I feel as though this is a fantastic product and has definitely been a key contributor in my skins all over improvement. My skin looks and feels great , Noticeable improvement with fine lines , too early to have helped with pigmentation in a major way however with the other products and treatments I’m using and having this is helping those results stay present.

I love the inclusion of Lactic acid and Niacinimide as they are giving me a nice even tone and glow whilst keeping my skin feeling hydrated and healthy. . So loving it right now , Also interested in her latest release Texture Reform , However not sure it will be more suited for my skin than this one.

Repurchase Yes really pleased with the results. Have another Retinol to try first and will then repurchase.

Ingredients – Deionized Water, Retinol (vitamin A propionate), Aloe Vera, Glycerth-26, OctylDimethyl, Polysorbate-80, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Lactate, Sodium PCA, Niacinimide, Soduim Benzoate, Inositrol, Lactic Acid, Quaterium-15

Thank you so much for reading !!!!

I do hope you enjoyed and subscribed , If you have any questions please feel free to ask in comments.

The Seeke – Rose Elixir

Hi everyone , I thought I’d hop on and discuss one of my favourite oils . It’s made by a company called @theseeke . And I will definitely be trying more of their products soon. This is not a sponsored post
Product –  Rose & Calendula Beauty Oil

Price – $59.95 AUD for 100ml

Recommended Use –  Can be used as a Moisturiser, Cleanser, Hair Treatment and Bath Oil

How I Use –  All of the above and recently a face oil.

Smell – Although it contains Lavender I only pick up rose, It quite literally smells like a bunch of freshly picked roses.

Texture – Its quite a thick texture which I enjoy.

Thoughts – The first time I bought this I used solely as a body oil, this time around I have played around a lot more and have been enjoying as a morning cleanse, due to the viscosity of the oil its incredible for facial massage and I’ve always been a fan of calendula in products. I will be experimenting with it this week as a makeup remover. a few times I’ve also added it as a facial oil when i’m craving nourishment in particular and its fulfilled those needs well. This is a beautiful product that I will continually repurchase and will be using a lot more consistently

Ingredients – Camellia oleifera seed oil*, Olea europaea fruit oil*, Calendula flowers*, Argania spinosa kernel oil*, Rosa centifolia (red rose buds), Pelargonium graveolens (rose geranium) essential oil, Lavandula angustifolia essential oil, Tocopherol (natural vitamin E).

Repurchase – Absolutely .

Thank you for reading , I hope you subscribe , If you’d like to see my daily routines you can me here @myskinandstyle on Instagram.

Pai Skincare Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil

Hi everyone just thought I’d highlight a new favourite oil as you can see in the picture the bottle its nearly empty. I was first introduced to this oil thanks to the lovely @aurelia.tiong  one of my Instagram friends and am a confirmed fan of it now. Apart from the results I do believe its a wonderful oil to have on hand whenever you feel your skin is stressed or sensitive or perhaps you just want to add something extra to beef up your moisturiser. At this price I really think you can’t go wrong. For me its the only oil I will be using in the evening from now on.
Product –  @paiskincare Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil

Price –  $40 aud for 30ml

A.M or P.M – Either. I prefer evenings.

Recommended Use – Apply 2-3 drops and massage onto clean dry skin on face or body.

How I Use – Of an evening I add 3 drops to my moisturiser of choice and massage in. I also apply 3 drops to my décolletage .

Smell – To me it smells earthy.

Texture – A medium viscosity

Thoughts – I have noticed since using this my skin feels more nourished, I wake up with deeply nourished skin that feels and looks smooth and plump. Obviously I use other products to aid that feeling, however with the amount of actives I use in the evening, I believe this is helping a lot due to the high proportion of Omegas 3,6,7 and 9 which are found in this particular rosehip oil which @paiskincare share on their website is Andean Rosehip Oil which also contains antioxidant carotenoids

Ingredients – Rosa Canina Seed Extract* – Rosehip Seed Extract
Rosa Canina Fruit Extract* – Rosehip Fruit ExtractTocopherol – Natural Vitamin E Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Extract* – Rosemary Extract.

Repurchase – Definitely !!!!

Thank you for taking the time to read , If you have any other questions please let me know in the comments below , also if you have a personal favourite Rosehip oil drop that in the comments as well please .

Have a wonderful day and I do hope you subscribe,  also you can follow me on Instagram   @myskinandstyle for daily routines.

Caroline Hirons x Cult Beauty Box of Dreams

Hi Everyone !!!
Today I’m going into greater detail on the Caroline Hirons for Cult Beauty Box of Dreams
This is the first time I’ve purchased one of Caroline Hirons curated boxes the main reason for purchasing was there were two products I was extremely interested in and one I’d purchased and loved previously.

IMG_7721 (1).jpg

Whats in the Box

The box retailed for $220 gbp for 6 items which individually would have cost $425 gbp as I live in Australia the price was minus 20% V.A.T so $315 aud for the box and $602 aud for the products individually so an incredible savings !!!!!

For a reference point it costs $260 aud for the Blue Cocoon alone when bought locally so this was a definite no brainer for me.

I’m very happy that I bought this box and I see its still available on the Cult Beauty website, I honestly believe its still available due to the inclusion of Blue Cocoon as people seem to be in two minds about that particular product. What I also appreciate is how it’s a full routine so you can use as shown or switch products from your own shelf and customise however you choose.

I would definitely consider purchasing the next box as in my mind if you are interested in or have previously used the most expensive item in the box and perhaps have been curious about one or two of the other items then you’ve already got your moneys worth.

Creating a Sleep Ritual

Due to working Night Shifts I find it extremely hard to adjust on my days off and have found myself unable to fall asleep before 6am which renders my time off almost completely useless. Therefore I’ve decided to try adopt a sleeping ritual in the hopes that by practicing this daily it will help my mind and body to find that balance necessary for slumber and thereby rendering my time off my own and not my pillows.

December Empties !!!!

Hi everyone !!!!
If you are following me on Instagram you would have seen my recent empties post . I thought I’d just add some more details about each product so that you can have more of a feel for my thoughts.

Now some of these were gifted by the incredible Instagram #skincarecommunity and some were from #cultbeauty GWP . All of my friends who shared their goodies with me are mentioned below as well as links to their IG profiles. There is one link that belongs to a retail store , This is not an affiliate link . It also includes items that were gifted in exchange for review , I have included the link to my reviews accordingly.

If you have anymore questions please feel free to ask in the comments section.

Jordan Samuel SkinThe After Show Treatment Cleanser.
This is my favourite make up remover a beautiful gel to oil cleanser that melts make up from the skin including waterproof !!!! The naturally occurring fragrance is a result of the non-irritating and carefully selected ingredients that are skin loving and nourishing. Massage into dry skin then add a little water to emulsify , I prefer to use a washcloth at this stage to remove the remnants. Also lovely in the morning a nice dollop massaged into skin and left on to protect my skin in the shower.

Repurchase – Yes this was my 3rd tube.

Fresh Beauty- Soy Face Cleanser. This was gifted by a lovely Instagram friend . As I’m not generally a fan of foaming cleansers I approached this with some trepidation and was pleasantly surprised !!! A small amount added to dampened skin and then splashed off provided me with a gentle morning or 2nd cleanse without leaving my skin feeling tight. A gentle and pleasant scent also.

Purchase– Yes.

Ayr SkincareAwaken Eye Serum. This product was gifted by Ayr Skincare in exchange for review which you can find here . I enjoyed the lightweight texture and rapid absorption definitely great for under eye hydration.

Purchase– Currently using another eye serum so in the future would buy this.

JurliqueRose Face Mist. This is very pretty and soothing a fantastic Australian natural brand that has an extensive hair, body and face line. For me its not my go to mist therefore its out.

Repurchase – No.

Indie LeeCoq10 Toner– This was a tricky one for me as I’ve previously used a full bottle of this. I’m not a fan of traditional toners, I prefer a mist or Acid toner at this stage in a routine whilst we are all aware of how great CoQ10 is for the skin , I’m afraid this product just isn’t my cup of tea although I know its beloved by many.

Repurchase– No unless it repackaged as a mist.

The Ordinary- Marula Oil. This was gifted by another lovely friend . I was so excited to try this !!!! I found it to be thicker than the African Botanics Marula Oil and yet yielded very similar results. My favourite way to use was mixed in with moisturiser which worked great for my face as well as body. Perfect for if you are suffering from sensitivity from using strong actives .

Repurchase– Yes

SerumtologieWhipped Facial Souffle. This was gifted by Serumtologie for review. Which you can find here – . Long story short I found it to be a great occlusive layer which would work absolute wonders in winter. Definitely for a dry/mature skin or one suffering from a compromised barrier. Other similar products which spring to mind at different price points are La Roche Posay Cicaplast Baume & La Mer Soft Cream.

Repurchase– Yes I think its a handy one to have on hand.

Tom FordSantal Blush & Neroli Portofino. Loved both of these Santal Blush is warm, sexy and inviting a perfect scent for the cooler months. Whilst Neroli Portofino screams summer from the first sniff. Really important to sample fragrances before purchase especially at these prices !!!

Purchase: Yes to both

Dr BronnersCastille Soap – Citrus & Rose These are just really basic well performing body washes the scents of both were lovely without being overbearing. I enjoy this brand a lot.

Repurchase Yes again and again

Leahlani SkincareBohemian Ruby Toner. This is targeted towards a dryer or mature skin however I think it would be a joy for all skins. Check out my review under the Skincare header for more info.

Repurchase Yes

Jacqueline EvansCastille Cream Cleanser. Was fortunate to receive this in a gwp over Christmas. Would not have tried this otherwise as it didn’t appeal on face value. However this is absolutely beautiful A heavier cream cleanser with a light citrus scent (naturally occurring ) Felt like id given my skin a valium, provides a great amount of slip for massage ad removes easily with a washcloth .Left skin feeling soft and calm.

Purchase Yes

Jordan Samuel SkinHydrate . Absolutely brilliant hydrator for the skin , I cant go a day without using. Essential for building those first layers of hydration and Vitamin C needed to give us our best skins. Skin Basics must have. And the price is incredible !!!

Repurchase On my 5th bottle and already planning my 6th.

The Ordinary- Advanced Retinoid 2% . I think this is what everyones first retinol should be. Gentle & effective , I often like to use when I’m giving my skin a little break from harsh actives and as always I still want my best skin. Also this would be fantastic to add to a really simple base cream for body care which I like to do at least once a week.

Repurchase Absolutely will pick up my 3rd bottle of this soon.

SisleyFloral Toning Lotion. Another gift, linked the IG account in the Fresh Cleanser overview.. Smells delicious and light , alcohol free so doesn’t disrupt sensitive skins and whilst on the luxury side of the skincare scales , you do get over 250ml of product. I have many mists or toners that would cost a hell of a lot more if they were sold in this size. I decanted half of this into a atomiser and it was beautiful using that delivery system other wise i just gently wiped with a cotton pad.

Purchase Yes if I’m in the mood for being spendy, As i don’t believe mists and non acidic toners are essential to a routine.

La MerThe Soft Cream & Genaissance What can I say my heart remembers when La Mer first launched in Australia and I rushed out to buy it. I think its a wonderfully occlusive cream and enjoy tapping it over eye serums so that i can absorb all the hydration I can bear. As for Genaissance there was only 7ml in the sample therefore not enough for me to be convinced I needed to drop $840 aud on it . If I’d looked even 1 year younger after using I would have sold someones kidney to get it. Don’t worry you’re all safe.

Repurchase The cream yes , already have. The serum NO

Max & MeCircle of Protection & Sweet Serenity Balm. These are both beautiful products that were sent to me by a friend and the balm from a store these are there Instagram accounts if you’re interested, I thoroughly enjoyed both of these green beauty treats. I’ve been fortunate enough to also try the mask & wash and cleanser which my friend sent me samples of. Needless to say you will see this brand in full size at some point this year.

Purchase Yes.

Dr Dennis Gross- C+Collagen Serum & Deep Cream. I’ve been a fan of Dr Dennis Gross Skincare for a long time, it was the first at home acid peel I ever used and still go back to time and again. Its very difficult to judge creams and serums in terms of results in less than a full skin cycle. So its more of a first impressions on these. The Serum had a lovely texture and absorbed well without pilling underneath other products, It felt gentle on the skin and no adverse effects . The cream felt deeply hydrating and I loved the medium weight of it no scent really to speak of. My skin felt moisturised all day and it sat beautifully under makeup.

Purchase At this stage I just didn’t have a feeling for the serum, would like to sample again. As for the cream it definitely has my name on it soon.

Sol de JaneiroBum Bum Cream. Smells delicious and because I live on these edge also used on my boobs . Both B’s loved it !!!!! Skin feels lovely and soft after using when I’m feeling extra dry its really nice layered over oil.

Purchase Yes and I want to explore more of their range as well.

OribeDry Texturising Spray & Volumising Spray. These were both great products that performed exactly how they were meant to.

Purchase I don’t feel the need to have either but if I’m feeling spendy then we all know whats going to happen lol.

Thank you so much if you made it this far !!!! And if you didn’t then you’ll never know how much I appreciate the fact you even started lol. If you enjoyed please subscribe , If you didn’t then like flatulence its best kept to yourself haha.

Have a great day everyone

Natasha Denona & Wayne Goss

Its hard to believe that only 6 months ago my eyeshadow and brush collection consisted of one matte shadow palette and about 2 eyeshadow duos, the brush collection was an assortment of what came with everything and a little budget set from the supermarket plus a Nars cheek brush..

Fast forward and as we’re approaching Christmas I’ve now got 2 Natasha Denona Palettes – Star and now Sunset , Modern Renaissance by Anastasia Beverly Hills . In the brush department I now enjoy 6 Sigma brushes and 3 Wayne Goss brushes all for eyes !!!!!

To say eyeshadow has become fun and experimental for me is an understatement, I truly look forward to applying my makeup now and hope to get better at it. I don’t feel I need to add anymore eyeshadows to my collection as every shade and finish I could want I have.

I will be adding more brushes though as I’d like doubles of the latest ones and to add more so that I can build up a proper assortment for my base products.

The below items were purchased from BeautyLish I love how fast their delivery is !!!!!!

Natasha Denona Sunset Palette Exterior

Natasha Denona Sunset Palette

I was quite intimidated by these shades at first and yet can honestly say that every single one is beautiful , the glitter shades are incredible and I use my finger to apply. The shimmers are unlike anything else I’ve ever seen and the mattes are so creamy its a dream to blend..

The amount of looks that are possible from this palette are astounding and I can do subtle or extreme without having to reach for another product which is ideal, I find myself very drawn to brights and warm shades but previously didn’t believe that it would be suitable I’m so happy I was drawn out of that mindset by the encouragement of supportive friends on Instagram.

Wayne Goss Brushes No 6, 16, 18

As I follow Wayne Goss on YouTube I’d heard about his brushes a long time ago however I wasn’t into eyeshadow so they seemed unnecessary , with my new interest though I thought it was time to try them and my goodness am I glad I did !!!!!

Blending eyeshadow is an absolute dream with these they just make everything easier over time I would like to purchase his entire collection . I started with these three No 16 and 18 are awesome for both crease and all over colour they practically blend as you apply. The No 6 I use for patting shades onto the lid its so soft !!! I will be purchasing a second set of No 16 & !8 as I’m astonished at how much quicker they make everything.

So thats all the new makeup you will be seeing for awhile as I’m in a happy place with my selection. I will be purchasing new base products but not until the new year.

Please let me know in the comments if you would like me to post some makeup looks using my new palettes ??

Hope you enjoyed and subscribed !!!!

New In Hair & Body & Face.

Hi everyone !!!!

I hope you’re all well , just thought I’d share some other bits and pieces that I’ve had arrive recently. I’ll start with body washes as I’m always hunting for more ,never found the perfect one as my preferred scent is always based on my mood.

Dr Bronners Limited Edition Earl Grey & sampler 6 pack

I couldn’t resist the opportunity to smell like tea lol, I actually couldn’t . Also they had a cute little sampler pack and as I’ve only tried the peppermint before thought this would be a great opportunity to try some new scents.

And now for some hair and face !!!!!!

Pureology & La Roche Posay

Now for those of you who know what I get up to on Instagram are aware I bought some products and qualified for the Cult Beauty GWP which had Pureology shampoo and conditioner mini’s , Its the Fullfyl range which is formulated to boost density and thickness whilst protect colour, now I don’t colour my hair but find these formulas less drying ,well as you can see above I enjoyed them so much I’d decided to purchase.

I purchased from an Australian site Adore Beauty during the Black Friday sales where they were 20% off. There was also a 30% discount on La Roche Posay !!!! so I stocked up on SPF I really enjoy their Anthelios range its 50+ and this is my preferred everyday SPF for reapplication . It came with a UV patch I will include a link to the website so that you can read what it does. It’s quite an interesting idea !!!!

Le Labo Body Cream

Was really excited to find that Le Labo has extended their range . I couldn’t resist picking this up . Its very rich and super hydrating I just love layering this over an oil, although now that we are entering summer just this will suffice .

This is a vegan plant based formula , rich in avocado , shea butter and coconut oil the scent is Hinoki which to me has citrusy top notes with a slight green base note. So refreshing yet not loud. It doesn’t overwhelm any fragrance you would follow with, nor does it drown the scent of anything you may layer underneath it. This is available from Mecca Cosmetica in Australia and New Zealand.

Will definitely purchase more from their new basics range !!!!

GHD Curve Tong Premium Gift Set

In my never ending search for the perfect “I woke up like this” soft wave , I purchased the above set,  as you can see it is a large barrel curling tong which is incredibly easy to use and can give a variety of looks. This set also included a nail polish I may never use and a brilliant case to either store it in or travel with.

I’m looking forward to trying some different looks with this. Whilst my hair is naturally wavy I do enjoy the more defined look a tool such as this can provide.

So we’ve come to the end of todays post. If you have any questions or recommendations please let me know below.

I hope you enjoyed and subscribed !!!!
