As promised here are my reviews of May Lindstrom Skin finally !!!!!!
These are definitely luxury products that will not fit into everyones skincare budget. For me personally they are worth it and even though I don’t love everything May has created, I genuinely appreciate the care and love she has poured into every single treat.
I started using this line just over a year ago and it has taken me that long to purchase the entire line. Whilst some products were instant love others either didn’t initially appeal and it has definitely taken some experimenting to find the best ways for them to work for me.
May’s line is completely organic and sustainably sourced and created with love by her and her incredible team. For me I find the line provides me with balanced and soothed skin whilst providing me with all the scents and textures I dream of in my self care ritual.

THE PENDULUM POTION

Smells Like Earthy Slight Citrus with floral notes
Recommended Use 4-6 pumps on dry skin , massaged gently and removed with a damp cloth
How often do I use Almost Daily

How I use I”m greedy so i use 6-8 pumps and massage into face and neck for about 3 minutes whilst taking long deep breaths through my nose to enhance the sensory experience. I remove with a warm washcloth.
Tips on using My only tips are to savour the experience and not waste on makeup removal. So that each of the wonderful ingredients can truly penetrate your skin.
My thoughts Like most of May Lindstroms products this was not love at first use. It took me a few cleanses to appreciate the beauty of this cleanser. Now that I’ve figured out my ritual with this its magic is undoubted.

Smells Like Heavenly Chocolatey Honey Pudding.
Recommended Use For Cleansing- a pea sized amount onto damp skin. For Masking- A tsp all over face for 10-20 minutes
How often do I use Weekly as a mask.

How I use I adore this as a mask either on its own or layered over Josh Rosebrook’s Active Enzyme Exfoliator. I leave on for about an hour. The aroma is incredibly soothing and delicious.
Tips on using Use often , experiment with layering under or over other mask types.
My thoughts This is a truly indulgent experience, one that leaves my skin soft and balanced whilst being the perfect springboard into a soul restoring selfceare ritual.

Recommended Use One tsp in palm or treatment bowl add drops of water to form a mouse apply with hands or treatment brush avoiding eyes. Rinse off
How often do I use 2-3 times a week

How I use I actually like applying over a cleanser. Its important to mix with water first as thats how the Vitamin C is activated. I gently massage into skin and remove using circular motions.
Tips on using Add the water very slowly, I like to wet my fingers under a running tap and then let the drops fall onto the powder to achieve my preferred consistency.
My thoughts I was not attracted to this product at all. I generally don’t like powders that need mixing. I won this in a giveaway hosted by the @theskinstudy on Instagram. Which was fortunate as I’ve enjoyed using this.

Tips on using Its nice to swap Product Typout the water element for another liquid such as any other natural/organic toner you have. Also if you find it too strong May suggests layering it on top of the Honey Mud.

My thoughts Again not a product i was immediately attracted to. Can honestly say it felt like a chore to use until May shared ways of using it. I’ve come to appreciate what this offers.

REPURCHASE Yes I see it can definitely play an important role as a deep cleansing mask. Due to its much larger than average size this would last at least 3-4 months.

THE JASMINE GARDEN

Smells Like It a delicious floral with Jasmine as the star but grounded with Ylang Ylang, Vanila and Cocoa.
Recommended Use Spritz after cleansing and again after oils.
How often do I use As often as possible.

How I use As recommended . Also as guided by May adding this over Balms or mixing it in your palm with oils and balms and massaging into skin.
Tips on using As its a mist I don’t really have any tips. Just don’t fall into the trap of thinking its not a multi use product.
My thoughts This instantly calms me when i use. The scent is extremely soothing and the inclusion of silver is incredible for the skin.

How I use I use mixed with Jordan Samuel Skin Hydrate and a balm . Warm in my hands then massage into face,neck and décolletage.
Tips on using Use as directed or use as part of a moisture mix. All of May’s products play well with others.
My thoughts I’m often asked how this compares to Vintners Daughter. For me they share similar ingredients and yet are still completely unique and both excellent. When the budget permits I like having both on hand.

My thoughts I’ve never experienced a product like this before from the intoxicating scent to the way my skin feels after use. My makeup sits perfectly on top. Or on a no makeup day its just leaves my skin dewy.

My thoughts I find body care and using oils such as these to be a very nurturing experience. When using this it transforms my thinking from maintenance to celebrating the body i have and by anointing it, I’m accepting it.

The bowl was handmade by ceramicist Melissa Brown and features Mays dandelion logo in 24k gold.The brush features vegan friendly talon fibres,reclycled aluminium ferrule and wood handle.

These items are not essential and yet are a luxurious way to prepare masks and apply them. I’m extremely pleased i purchased as I love masking and they just add that spa like sensation to every application.

In Conclusion.

I am really pleased to have finally completed my May Lindstrom Skin Collection and genuinely excited by the possibilities of further creations to add to my self care rituals..  I do believe this range caters for every skin type and age, other than extremely acneic.I find the above products really fulfil the majority of my hydration and balancing needs.

I would love to see an extended body care range and eye product added, also the travel sizes as a permanent addition . As it can be scary trying to go without these treats on holidays !!! lol
