Oskia Skincare.. Renaissance anyone ?

Hi everyone !!!

Just thought I’d share my thoughts about the products I’ve tried from Oskia Skincare . It really is a lovely and effective range.

The mask came in a Caroline Hirons for Cult Beauty box, so that was handy as I don’t think I’d have tried it otherwise and the cleanser was recommended to me by a friend as usual she knows me well.

So read away and hopefully it answers some questions you may have.

IMG_8843Product – Renaissance Cleansing Gel

Price –  $47 aud 100ml

Recommended Use – Massage into dry skin apply a few drops of water to emulsify and rinse with warm water

How I Use –  Generally as a morning or second cleanse . I massage thoroughly into dry skin and remove with a warm washcloth.

Smell –  Reminds me of turkish delight ,So a delicate rose scent and I believe its the chamomile which adds a certain dustiness to it.

Texture –  I know its called a gel but to me it has a soft balm consistency which turns to an oil on the skin.

Thoughts – I absolutely love this cleanser and really enjoy using it I tend to use 3 pumps per cleanse, It also removes makeup however I like giving myself a lovely facial massage with or occasionally as a mini mask hence my preference as a morning or second cleanse. I also find the price point exceptional considering the quality of ingredients and joy in using. So a luxurious, effective product in what I would categorise as mid-level pricing.

Repurchase – Absolutely

Product – Renaissance Mask

Price –  $76 aud  50ml

Recommended Use – Apply to a dry cleansed face , massage for a few seconds to activate ingredients if you have sensitive skin wait 10 minutes before massaging. Leave on for 10 – 20 minutes depending on skin type. Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry.

How I Use –  When it comes to acids I follow directions , I leave on for a full 20 minutes and surprise surprise I remove with a warm washcloth lol.

Smell – Rosy with a whiff of citrus.

Texture –  A gel texture.

Thoughts – I did not think this would do anything for my skin. The only reason I tried it was due to its inclusion in a Caroline Hirons for Cult Beauty box. I now really enjoy using it especially in the morning as it just gives such a beautiful glow and smoothness to the skin and the following steps in my routine just feel as though they are penetrating more deeply. I adore the texture and find it removes very easily and occasionally get a little tingle so the potency is real without being rough.
