RECOMMENDED USE – Apply 1-2 pumps. Massage onto cleansed damp skin: face, neck, and décolleté before applying an oil and/or hydrating cream if desired. Tap a small amount around the eye area.

HOW IT SMELLS – Nothing stands out , just a freshness really.
HOW IT FEELS – This is a light gel textured serum , very nice.
HOW MUCH DO I USE – Usually one pump.
HOW OFTEN DO I USE – 3 nights per week in conjunction with the Fleurs D’Afrique Intensive Recovery Oil.
HOW DO I USE – Usually after cleansing, acid toning/misting then oil,eye cream and moisturiser.
MY THOUGHTS – This is the most wonderful texture and an absolute joy to use it has definitely helped brighten my skin and the following morning my skin is hydrated and refreshed. Used with their Intense Recovery Oil the effects are amplified and it really is a duo that can give you perfected skin. It took me using for awhile to appreciate this serum . I’m glad I took the time.
FACTS – Whilst it contains retinol this is not a replacement for a dedicated retinol product. This is best seen as a repairing & hydrating product . It helps repair existing sun damage whilst inhibiting melanin production . So a valid tool in any brightening arsenal , also I don’t feel its necessary to use a seperate hydrating product with this.
REPURCHASE – Like the entire African Botanics range this is not budget friendly however if you are not a fan of strong actives this could replace your retinol and brightening serums at night so factor in your actual skincare needs. I will definitely consider a repurchase as sun damage is one of my major concerns.
