Hi everyone !!
So here we are again with the not green cleansers lol.
I used these for makeup removal and second cleanse options in the evening.
PRODUCT – Slaai Makeup – Melting Butter Cleanser
PRICE – $52 aud for 110g
SKIN TYPE – Any
RECOMMENDED USE – On dry skin massage over face and eyes. Add water to activate, rinse well with warm water and pat dry. May also be removed with a soft, damp cloth.
1-2 times per week, add the booster for a physical exfoliation.
Avoid the eye area when using the exfoliating booster.
A.M OR P.M- Either
HOW IT SMELLS – Like cooking oil.
HOW IT FEELS – Very good slip and a lovely thick texture which softens as soon as you touch it.
HOW MUCH DO I USE – I would say a thumbnails worth or enough to fill the attached spoon.
HOW OFTEN DO I USE – Nightly
HOW DO I USE – As directed , so massaging into skin for a minute then adding warm water to emulsify for me I then use a warm wash cloth to ensure there is no residue.
MY THOUGHTS – This does exactly as expected all makeup is easily removed and you could definitely use this to double cleanse to make sure that your skin has also been gently cleansed . Its extremely important to not use to much as it will be hard to ensure that all residue is removed.
Ive not experienced any sensitivity in the eye area nor difficulty removing waterproof eye makeup.
I add a little of the booster during a second cleanse occasionally and have found it to be very gentle and effective if it was available for purchase separately I wouldn’t buy it.
My preference is for green beauty cleansers as I enjoy the aromatic experience so whilst i don’t feel any love for this as a sensorial experience I cant deny that it works and is a bloody good makeup remover especially if you have sensitive skin or react to fragrance in products .
FACTS – Free from essential oils, silicones, fragrance, PEGs and irritants
REPURCHASE – I would it works , Its a good price point and has about 100 uses in it also I love the magnetic spoon .

MY THOUGHTS – This does a perfectly good job at removing makeup , It did make my eyes feel slightly sensitive with regular use. MY THOUGHTS – This is a beautiful cleanser and it feels so comforting and soothing on the skin and when I’ve been going all out on the actives this feels lovely on my skin.
