Mahalo Skincare, The Bean

Hi Everyone,

Thought it was about time that I shared my thoughts on this mask , It took me awhile to try anything from Mahalo Skincare as I often get distracted by tried and true favourites with a side of  ” Ooh shiny and everywhere on IG ” lol.

So without further ado.

MySkin&Style Mahalo Skin Care The Bean
A delicious green beauty antioxidant mask .

PRODUCT – Mahalo Skincare The Bean

PRICE – $80 usd for 50ml.

SKIN TYPE – Any .

RECOMMENDED USE – For first-time users, leave mask on for 2-5 minutes. For sensitive skin types, leave on skin for 4-7 minutes. For a deeply enriching treatment, leave on for 20-30 minutes. To remove, slowly massage off the product using warm water. Can be used up to three times each week. (taken from website.)

A.M OR P.M- Either

HOW IT SMELLS – Like mocha spiked with vanilla and spices ( drooling )

HOW IT FEELS – Mine spread on the skin very easily and it feels similar to a heavier clay mask but not drying.

HOW MUCH DO I USE – Probably close to a teaspoon to get a nice thick coverage.

HOW OFTEN DO I USE – I used roughly twice a week until empty.

HOW DO I USE – I apply a even thickish layer and leave on for 30-40 minutes, then I mist and gently massage for a soft exfoliation before using a warm wash cloth to fully remove.

MY THOUGHTS – This mask is said to “detoxify” the skin and promote a balanced and healthy complexion by improving circulation using a powerful blend of antioxidants.

My complexion is left slightly flushed and looking bright, also soft to the touch,  not drying or stripping in anyway as my dry skin would hate that.

I really enjoyed this mask and see instant results not sure about long term benefits however but I think masks for me are just about instant results more often than not.

I also believe that it helped with mu pigmentation alongside the other items in my routines, this is definitely something I would put in my pigmentation group.

Having said that I think using 3 times in one week would be an amazing way to reboot your complexion before going to either once or twice per week.

This lasted me 11 weeks using twice a week mainly .

REPURCHASE –  I absolutely will , I loved the way my skin looked and felt after every use.

SUMMARY.

I really felt it was important to share the Key Ingredient explanations especially as we are all becoming more aware of the importance (talking about myself)

As a person who loves green beauty yet loathes the standard “non toxic ” bs I am at a point where I will only purchase from brands that don’t use fear and misinformation to make their way into this beauty world that we invest so much of our money.

I believe that Mahalo Skincare does not profit from the above so have happily added them to my list of responsible brands. (this list resides in my head ) let me know if you want me to do a post on it.

Take care , thank you for reading and if you have any questions please just ask !!.

Lots of Love

Genaya xx
