Hi Everyone ,
Still forever playing catchup with reviews.
Today I am reviewing one of my winter favourites (spoiler alert ) and also my first ever product from Elemis.
So without further ado ….
PRODUCT – ELEMIS
Peptide4 Night Recovery Cream-Oil
PRICE – $90.00 aud for 30ml
SKIN TYPE – Any although I’d advise caution if you are sensitive to fragrance & essential oils.
RECOMMENDED USE – Apply every evening, to cleansed skin, avoiding the delicate eye area. If contact with eyes occurs, rinse thoroughly.
A.M OR P.M- P.M
HOW IT SMELLS – I love the floral scent but would advise sampling first as it does hang around.
HOW IT FEELS – Like a slight dense milky oil emulsion.
HOW MUCH DO I USE – I go in with a full dropper .
HOW OFTEN DO I USE – I used 4-5 nights a week in winter.
HOW DO I USE – So I actually use this after all my serums and before moisturiser as a extra comforting and soothing step , I use a full dropper as I take it to my décolletage and massage in using long firm strokes.
WHAT THEY SAY – The skin follows natural circadian rhythms, creating waves of activity which trigger cells to perform important processes at specific times of the day, with repair and renewal being boosted during the night. Timing of these processes is vital for skin balance and health. ELEMIS’ tetra-peptide, inspired by these circadian rhythms, helps to support the skin’s natural processes. The harsh environment, travel, disruptive sleep patterns and modern living can all have an effect on circadian rhythms, causing them to become out of sync. This skin synchronising night cream-oil blends perilla seed oil and ELEMIS’ exclusive Night Scented Stock oil, exceptionally rich in omega 3, vitamin E and anti-oxidants. Skin feels rebalanced and appears restored and replenished. (Taken from website)
MY THOUGHTS – I really enjoyed this and found it extremely helpful in combatting dryness and sensitivity from excessive heating in winter , my skin would feel immediately soothed and moisturised after use and the fragrance for me added to the spa like quality of this brand.
FACTS – They are not afraid to use fragrance and essential oils in a way that might be overwhelming or sensitising for some skins.
Again I recommend sampling first .
REPURCHASE – I will as I thoroughly enjoyed using and am also keen to try more from Elemis.
